Serpent Lake Shooting Day 15
We had a few technical difficulties but other then that filming went smoothly!  It was nice to work once again with actress Mallory Jones. She goes above and beyond the duty of acting. She said she got more into her character this time and wasn't so rushed like in Fields. Was the water cold for her?  Yes. Was the blood sticky for her? Yes. She enjoyed all of it!! There was times though where she got some lake water in her month and just about lost her breakfast!! Still a very special thanks to Mallory Jones. It was my first time to work with actor James Maxwell and Andy Howell. Both did a very good job!! And the man of the hour, Actor Larry Howell (who I worked with before on my Star Wars fan films) pulled off the best comedic performance I've ever seen!! Scene 10 will be one of the scenes out of Serpent Lake that fans will remember!! It was a good!

Writer/Director Joel Trujillo Day Two Of Shooting
Day 2 was another great day of filming. The weather cooperated with us.
Cast and crew where at their 110% best on filming and getting that right scenes with less takes. Costumes looked great and the water was just right. Just ask actor Mark Espinoza. LOL!! The heat was a little hot making it too where the cast and crew drank more water and didn't touch the food tray till dinner time. That night it didn't take long for everyone to hit the sack!! Make sure you check out the "Behind the scenes videos" on the "Serpent Lake" website!

PRAISE FROM LA (comments from John Kubin)
Joel, I gotta say....your movie was amazing!!
I just got done watching and my God, everything was stepped up so much from the first movie. I love everything, the acting was way good, the characters were awesome, and the whole antichrist reference really tuned me in. I think my favorite part though was the fact that the doc was rotting flesh and still maintained human!! Loved it. Thanks for my little cameo, that was funny. I really loved the soundtrack you had too.

You should feel really good about this one dude!! Cant wait to see what you come up with next. GOOD JOB!!!!

John Kubin appeared as Gregg Burrows in the film "Dusk Of The Living Dead"

Fields Of The Living Dead Opening

JFT Productions would like to thank the cast and crew of Fields Of The Living Dead. Friday was a very special day for all of us and it wouldn't have been without you.

I know while filming Fields it got a little stressful at times but your hard work paid off in the end. The acting looked great in Fields. I know there as been some problems with the DVD copies of Fields and I do want to apologize for that.

Eclipse Of The Dead Opening
JFT Productions would like to thank the Southgate Four Theater in Liberal, Kansas. Earl Watt, Rick Yearick and Paul Salley. Eclipse on the big screen wouldn't have been what it was without your help and love for the movies.

I would like to thank the cast and crew of Eclipse for their hard work. I'm happy to enjoy every one of your smiles after Eclipse. That was my gift from you. There may be those out there that will knock this film down, your acting and even the presentation of the limited DVD's that were handed out. Hold your head's up high. Like Jesus said "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. (Matthew 5:38-42)

Everything that JFT Productions does is for fun and nothing more. Those that want to say good or bad about us can speak their own opinion.

Once again Saturday March 31, 2007 was OUR day and be very proud, you deserve it! And to our fans here in the states and overseas. Thank you for supporting us and believing in us.

JFT Productions Actor and Family Involved In Accident
Actor Mark Espinoza along with his Wife Kayla and infant son Alexander were involved in a car wreck between Elkhart and Liberal KS Monday March 12, 2007. Mark suffered minor injuries. Kayla had a full body CAT scan when she got to Wichita and just has a broken ankle and a broken nose. The right side of her face is really scraped up but her swelling has gone down a lot and when the swelling goes down more on her ankle they will operate on that.

Alexander has a small fracture on the back of his skull but they said it would heal on its own and he will have some head pain for a few days. They hope to be home this weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mark. We love you, Bud and we're thankful that you and your family are okay.

Kayla Espinoza below talks about the accident:
"Alexander, and I were involved in a car accident. We were on our way to Liberal, taking second street, (the back road) and were hit on the Drivers side by a Schwans truck. It completely destroyed the pickup we were driving, and by looking at the pickup, the Schwans truck ran over the hood of it. I was thrown through the drivers door, and did two spins in the air like a helicopter, and landed on the pavement and slid across what I believe was grass and etc. I don't remember a lot about what happened, just what I've been told. Alexander and I were flown to Wichita, and kept at Via Christi hospital until today, when we were both released. We are now home doing fine, I look like I've been eaten by a rock crusher, but other than that, I'm fine. Mark and Alexander are also doing good, little sore, but thank god we're alive!!!!

Kubin finds himself "Exposed"
John Kubin who played Gregg Burrows in the JFT Productions film "Dusk Of The Living Dead" was on MTV last Friday night on a show called Exposed. John who was born in Liberal, Kansas and is now living in California has been trying to make a name for himself there. Director Joel Trujillo had a chance to ask John about the MTV airing.

JOHN: "The show was called "Exposed" it aired Jan 5th
I think some gal from MTV got on my myspace, checked it out and liked my videos, then she called me to come in for an audition. I made em' laugh and then they called and said they wanted me for it! Pretty cool!! the show was a lot of fun.

JFT Productions is proud to be apart of Actor John Kubin's life. It just goes to show that dreams do come true with hard work and effort. We are excited for John and we look forward to seeing more in the future from such a talented actor. John Kubin Bio

Dear Fans,
We would like to take this time first of all to tell you thanks for being there for JFT Productions. Things have been a little bumpy the past few months and we’ve come to a decision that things will have to slow down just a bit. If you have been following our production news recently then you know that JFT Productions along with
Night Walker Films has been working non-stop in writing "Dusk of the Living Dead" and "Fields of the Living Dead" and filming both movies almost back to back. JFT Productions will continue to bring life to film in future projects. We’re just taking a break for awhile.

It has come to the decision of Writer, Director, co executive Joel Trujillo along with owner Joe Frank Trujillo of JFT Productions that JFT Productions will go it’s separate way with Night Walker Films and Randal Greenwood. We would like to let the fans know that everything is fine and that Joel Trujillo and Randal Greenwood are still close friends. They will continue to give each other help and tips when writing and filming movies as friends would help one another.

Since JFT Productions is taking a break, this will still allow Night Walker Films and Writer/Director Randal Greenwood to continue writing scripts and making movies on their own. Once again JFT Productions wants to make it clear that Joel Trujillo and Randal Greenwood are still close friends. THE SHOW IS NOT OVER for Night Walker Films and Randal Greenwood.

JFT Productions would like to say thank you to Randal Greenwood and Night Walker Films with the making of "Dusk of the Living Dead" and "Fields of the Living Dead". We wish them the best of luck.

Thanks Once again
Joel Trujillo

This is only the beginning..........

Guess who's expecting?
Actress Terra Orth (Who plays Samantha Starke in the upcoming horror moving "Fields of the Living Dead") announced that she and her Husband Shannon Orth are expecting a new addition to their family sometime next year in July. "I'm pregnant again!!!!!!" Actress Terra Orth told JFT Productions Director Joel Trujillo Tuesday afternoon.

"This was completely unexpected and I'm still a little freaked out, but I know God has his reasons for everything that happens in life, I'm very joyful." She said laughing.

"We're really excited for Terra and her family I mean after all filming with Terra on "Dusk" and "Fields" she became family to us here at JFT Productions so I was happy when she told me about the news.

I'm glad we wrapped "Fields" just in time for her to take it easy now and spend time with her family." Director Joel Trujillo said Tuesday. Actress Tera Orth says she's feeling good so far. Just a little queesy off and on.

"So, the way I see from past experience I have about a week or so before I start completely feeling bad. The only thing I've ever hated about being pregnant was how sick I got for two solid months.  It's not morning sickness for me, it's if I'm awake I'm sick.  Not looking forward to that and hoping that God will spare me that this time since I'm so much OLDER now." Terra said.

To all our fans out there...
I hope that you've enjoyed the Online Journal of "Fields" on the website. From here on out JFT Productions and Night Walker Films will continue to film in various places for the next month or so to get things wrapped up. We ran into a little problem with one of the actors, so at the last minute we had to replace him. This will put us back a week just to re-do the scenes we had already filmed. So no more spoilers from us til' it's time to see the movie next year. There may be a few more trailers but that will be it for now.

Remember...Keep the dead alive!!
